Oxford Languages defined photography as “the art or practice of taking and processing photographs”. Moma.org also mentioned that “photography has been widely used throughout history and in the present day as a tool for science and research; as means of documenting people, places and events; of telling stories and recording histories; and as a mode of communication and critique in our increasingly visual culture.”
Photography will not be in history without the existence of Joseph Nicéphore Niépce, also known as the father of photography, and has been branded as the first-ever photographer in the world. Henry Fox Talbot was another known name in the field of photography. He is the inventor and photography pioneer. The first-ever photograph that was taken using a camera took place in 1826.
Photography has numerous branches and it is continuously evolving from time to time.
One of my most favorite branches of photography is newborn photography, aside from loving children, it is also my field of expertise. In fact, I have my own newborn photography studio in Los Angeles. It has always been my cup of tea, it is where I can express my creativity the most. Though it isn’t easy, considering the welfare of infants, once you get used to it you’ll get yourself familiarized with how it is done. Baby photography is my most favorite yet, I appreciate every branch of photography. Photography has been my bread and butter and it keeps me motivated and inspired always.
Photography has indeed changed the quality of life and it is consistently improving, its innovation is never-ending.
Admit it or not, photography has played a vital role in our existence and we cannot live without it.
Good thing photography is very accessible in the present unlike in the old days where not everyone didn’t get to have the opportunity of having their own photograph. Today, almost every second someone takes a picture to post or to keep. Photography makes memories live forever.
