Cake Smash sessions take place in my studio. I provide all the props, set up and décor. I have a beautiful collection of dresses, tutu skirts, outfits for boys and cake accessories. Cake is not included. Please note, if the baby is walking already, I cannot book you for the cake smash. The best time for the cake smash is 1 month before the actual birthday (babies usually are not walking yet and they do not have stranger danger thing)

On the day of the session, I will start by taking portrait photos of your baby wearing a beautiful outfit, followed by cake smash and then bubble bath at the end. Cake Smash sessions are unpredictable, but always so much fun!

I would suggest to schedule Cake Smash session after your baby’s first nap. Most of my baby photo sessions take place mid-morning. Please note, that some babies don’t like the texture of the cake, please test it out a few times so they are familiar with what they will be dealing with at the session. Buttercream frosted cakes work best. Please avoid red colored cakes and chocolate cakes (they don’t look good on the photos)

All images from the session (around 50 color corrected high resolution digital images)

Cake Smash + Family $1600

1,5 hour photoshoot in the studio
Portrait photos of the baby before the smash
Time will be taken to photograph mom, dad & baby together, as well as with siblings. No grandparents. One outfit change for parents.
Color theme decorations, backgrounds, outfits
Bubble Bath Splash (images taken while having bubble bath clean up after the cake smash)
All images from the session (around 70 color corrected high resolution digital images)
20 photos of your choice fully retouched

Please note, this is not a full family session, if you would like a longer session with several outfits and different backgrounds please book a full family session

Additional Details

$500 non-refundable retainer is required to secure your spot. This is applied to the package you select. Your spot will be released if retainer is not paid within 48 hours of booking. Your session is not guaranteed until your deposit has been received. The remaining balance must be paid on the day of your session in check, cash or credit card.
Sessions are Mon-Fri only. Studio is closed on weekends.
Two weeks after the session, you will receive your color corrected digital gallery (you can keep all the photos) Then, you can select your favorite photos for artistic editing. These favorite photos will be fully edited and delivered to you via digital download. Artistic editing takes 2 weeks. All packages are digital portrait packages. No physical prints will be given.
Additional edited images available for purchase at $25/image. If you need to reschedule your session, please notify me 24 hours in advance.
All prices are subject to change. Although your pricing is locked in once you have booked your session and paid your deposit.
The original raw files are not available for purchase. Digital files comes with the print release, however, Ramina Magid Photography retains the right to all images.
