We often take the value of things for granted ‘less they are gone. What we must do is to take the opportunity to savor and preserve the memory one outstanding way is through photographs. Photographs are our own stories, timetables of the events in our lives filled with memories, places, people, joy, laughter, agony, sadness, and more. It is wonderful memorabilia of our past, our yesterday. There is always a reality in photographs.
Being one of the newborn photographers in Los Angeles, I have witnessed many loving tears of joy during pregnancy, while giving birth even while doing newborn photography sessions. It is overwhelming to see lives changing, good thing my best companion, my camera takes a slice of it so we can always go back and remember the day of a blessing, a bundle of joy, and an answered prayer came to earth and became part of their lives. That’s why baby photoshoots are my cup of tea.
Being in a photo gives us a sense of association and makes us feel valued especially when captured by a family photographer. We relive moments in photos, a conversation starter to go back to what has life used to be.
The value of being in a photograph is priceless, no one can take that moment away from you and photographs stand as your visual evidence that it has happened and that you belong. Let no one deprive someone to be in a photograph, to have a verification of their existence in that episode of life.
Is it not lovely to see your photos from time to time? To go back to those moments where the photo was taken? Let is always be captured through lenses so there is always a vivid way to remember life.
“Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever… It remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything.”
